JEC Sanitary and Food Grade Shear & Blending Pumps

Some sanitary applications require more than simple transfer of liquid products. For applications involving blending, emulsifying, dispersion, disolving, and homogenizing JEC make available the JSB range of high shear pumps. Utilising a unique impeller-vane-inducer design enables the JSB series to quickly and efficiently dissolve and blend products such as gums. sugars, and powders.

Using a JSB series pump can reduce mixing times by 90% when compared to traditional paddle mixers or agitators, resulting in a quicker more efficient production process. Being fully CIP capable further reduces downtime as hand cleaning will not be required where CIP facilities are avaialble.

All wetted components are manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel, with single and flush style mechanical seals available. Single mechanical seals can be maintained through the front housing eliminating the need to remove the pump from the discharge pipe-work.

The JSB shear blnder can deliver flow rate up to 50m³/hr @ 50Hz motor speeds, with discharge heads to 45 metres. The shear blender can also quickly and easily be converted to a JSB series centrifugal pump by simply replacing the impeller.
