Pumping products from drums and containers can be a difficult proposition, especially when the products are of a viscous nature. Priming the pump can be a difficult and time consuming exercise, and can lead to air-locks and dry-running situations. The Lutz 'Santo' range of 3A certified drum and container pumps can solve this issue and provide a sanitary pump solution for your transfer applications.

The Lutz 'Santo' range has been specifically designed for use in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. The low shear eccentric screw style pump action ensures your products are not degraded through the pumping process and is gentle on any particles that require preserving. The pump can be quickly dismantled for manual cleaning and meets the latest 3-A certifications, ensuring there are no traps for bacteria present in the pump.

Lutz 3-A 'Santo' pumps can be fitted with a range of motors, covering single and 3-phase as well as compressed air motors where required. Standard pump tube length is 1100mm allowing for use on 1000 litre IBC containers and 205 litre drums. The performance envelope of the 'Santo' range typically covers 12 to 75 litres/min with discharge pressures up to 6 bar achievable.

All materials coming into contact with the pumped fluid are compliant to both 3-A and FDA standards. A sanitary tri-clamp fitting on the discharge port allows for rapid tool free disconnection making this pump extremely portable and versatile.
